Touchpad is not working xperia pro mk16i

Unknowingly i installed a rom of "xperia pro mk16a" in "xperia pro mk16i" and my touchpad is not working now.
Even after all these i installed correct rom after formatting all datas, but still no effect on touchpad.
Please help me out!!!

Try to reflash again (flashtool) a different firmware

fainally i format everthing (data, sysytem, cache) and reflashed it then restore my old rom.
now its working as previous...

I purchased sony erricson xperia pro mk 16i in feb 2012 and since then i have been using it without any issues.Few months back my pet dropped my mob once. since then there were issues with the sound and i was not able hear the ringtone while receiving any calls. also for last few days i have been facing the issues with touch pad wherein it is not working now. i tried going to authorised Sony Service Center but they say that the model is outdated now and they don't have spares to repair it and i should try it getting repaired in some grey market. Does that mean, i should throw away such an expensive set. Also, it clearly means that even if you buy any model you have to change it with another once every two years otherwise Comapny will not support its repair. Then is it worthy to pay so much for Sony handsets? pl anyone tell me as what should i do now?
