Try a force restart(power button+vol up until the phone vibrates).Do you see a different battery percentage?

I'm having the same problem. Recently it started showing either 1% or 100% constantly, nothing in between.

I just tried forcing a restart, and it switch to 100%. So I tried it again, and it's at 1% now again.

I'll try the advice listed here:

http://talk.sonymobile.com/t5/Xperia-S-SL-acro-S/Battery-problem-stuck-at-81/m-p/402251/highlight/tr...

And then report back.

If there's any other ideas I can try, I'd be up for that too.

Thanks

Alright, I tried `Update_Service_Setup-2.11.12.5.exe` but it seemed to do the same thing as the PC Companion (which I had already installed.

So I went back to just trying that.

It recommended I perform a backup, but the backup kept failing. Perhaps because my device is rooted?
Most of my data is synced via Google, so I can recover most, but I still wanted a backup incase.

Since the Backup isn't working, I'm using Titanium backup, and once it completes I'll go through the repair.

Re-applying root isn't quite ideal though, and this is getting to be a hassle. Again I'd appreciate other ideas that might help.

Giving that your phone is rooted,I cannot give you much support as I am not informed about it.The thing I would have suggested was the software repair, which will remove the root.
