sp whatsapp problem

i've backup my whatsapp chat history , because i want to repair my sp , so i transfer the backup from internal to sd, after the phone had been repair i transfer back the chat history to internal and when i reinstall whatspp , it does not detect the backup please help me

did you back up with pc companion?

no as it takes too much time, but i have backup the chat history in chat setting whatsapp and copy the backup to sd card

when you restart your whatsapp does it give you the option of restoring backup found ?

what do you mean is restarting the phone?

after you repaired your device and started whatsapp again , did any msg come up stating a back up found and asking if you what to restore it or not?

yes but it only show the group that i joined

sadly thats the only thing backed up next time back up via pc companion of go into settings>backup & reset and back up all to your gmail account

I also suggest contacting Whatsapp as they do have support regarding there product, they may be able to supply an alternative way to get this backup file to work for you.
