hey guys im loving my new sp and its been working great

but lately it wont let me change my lock screen wallpaper. i used to change it a lot- almost everyday, but now it just says "could not set lock screen wallpaper" like in the picture. its no big deal but its a bit annoying and i cant find any solution online.

if anyone could help, that'd be great

Go to setting/Developer option / Unmark protect USB storage it will work.

Do you have a pin lock, pattern lock, password lock?

no. and i use swipe option.i tried clearing data of lock screen from apps also.

Does it happen with any picture or just a particular picture? have you try the basic? restart your phone? do you have any intrussive app?

i tried different pictures, restarted my phone thrice, i dont have that sort of apps. i only have the phone for a couple weeks, and like i said i could change the wallpaper before and i didnt update or anything of sorts. it just wont change.
