Hello everyone !
I have noticed something strange about my Xperia SP. When I open the camera app and the phone tries to focus, there's a ticking sound coming from the camera. It's a hardware issue, not software. This isn't happening all the time, usually 1 out of 5 times. I was wandering if this is one of the phone's flaws or I've got a defective product. If this isn't supposed to happen, I guess I'll have to send it back to warranty. Hope you guys can help me, thanks !

I think it is normal. Mine does that too. My old w810i also does that. I guess it's the mechanism that moves the lenses, so if you already focused on something next time you focus on the same place the lenses may not move. When you point your camera to somewhere else the lenses might need to move again.
It could also be some defect but I doubt it.

I agree with ogu. There are moving parts in the camera and it is normal that this makes a sound. As long as you doesn't notice anything else being strange with the camera this should not be something to worry about.
as other said its normal
you can hear that tick sound on any phone with camera
