How can I turn off the radio in my xperia s without rebooting it?

you don't.

press the Blue Radio with circle icon below the clock. (then home or back button, or if u run music player radio will be replaced)

Am unable to get sound on you tube or incoming calls and the radio still thinks the earphones are connected but they are not
