SMS or Conversation not Displaying

I just got my Xperia Arc last month. But recently this problem came up. There is the notification when a SMS comes in. But when i open to view it, it is not there.

I tried deleting the conversation and it was fine. However i'm not sure if this is a proper solution.

I searched the internet but there was no similar problem to what i am having. Are there anyone else having this kind of problem? Maybe u found another solution this it?

do this ( will delete all messages and its settings)
settings> applications> manage applications> all > messaging> clear data
see if problem exists

Hi, the other suspect is Messaging app downloaded from Android Market (if you have). If not, follow Nabeelraza' suggestion.

check your date and time of the phone.. most probably the date and time is wrong..
