Screenshot feature after ICS update?

Can anybody out here educate me how to take screenshots in ICS? i dont get the option of screenshot whe i hold the power key!And also dont have the notification bar widgets except fot the settings shortcut in the notification scroll down panel!

can you elaborate on the shortcuts?

are you trying to add a widget? if you are then > touch anywhere on the homescreen > you should be able to see a circle with a + in it > tap on it > it will take you to the widgets menu
