I dropped my mini :smileysad::smileycry::smileycry::smileycry: the glass is broken, but i still can use the phone, what can i do to get it repair???? how do i know that i have warranty or not on it? Does the warranty cover the glass?? what is the difference between the authorized sony repair shop and the repiar shop? pls help!!!

hi, we did it! on the weekend we changed the lcd and digitizer...  just to be save we ordered both, and turned out they are glued together, so it is impossible to change just the digitizer. At least at home as diy. i am so happy !!!!!! :smileyhappy::smileyhappy::smileyhappy::smileyhappy::smileyhappy: it was not easy to disassembly the phone, took 3 hours and althought we had a tiny screwdriver it was not enough small. we ran to fry's and got a 5/16 -i think- screwdriver. To put the phone together is very easy.

the problem is and i don't know it is because we did something wrong or because of any software but when a take away the phone from my ear and wanted to end a call or do anything on it, the display stays black. Sometimes the home button is working to get back the display sometimes it just stays black and i can not do anything. Any suggestion or solution?

hi, we disassembled again the phone , nothing looked like to be loose. Assemled again and still have the problem with the display. today i noticed that the microphone cracks. :smileysad::smileysad::smileysad::smileysad:

Can we do anything?

What is the difference between 17a and i? i mean can i use the i one here in the usa?

is there any part we can replace?

can i buy a refurbished one and make a new one from the two phone?
