Screen protector - to use or not to use? ;-)

Screen protector - to use or not to use? ๐Ÿ˜‰

My SK15i has a screen protecting film bundled. I haven't try to install it yet.

Do you use it? Does it change the screen contrast or touch reaction? Does it influence the "captive buttons" issue in any way?

Yes, use a screen protector.  The "scratch resistant" screen is not scratch resistant at all.  I found out the hard way.

use it. i don't think the sticker coming in default is acting as a proper screen protectr. and make sure you don't put any air bubbles in between it and da screen.:smileyhappy:

i don't say it protects ur screen from scraching b'cause it's scrach resistant, not scrach protector:smileywink:. even i got a little scrach afte 4 weeks. but it repels dust and it's smooth.

Is there any tutorial on how to put the protector avoiding potential trouble?

Can it be removed afterwards?

Is it true that the bundled protector is directional and there is only one possible position of attaching it?

here's how i did it.

1. clean your screen with the tiny cotton cloth supplied with the protector for dust. do this until all the oil marks on ur screen are gone.

2.tear one side of the protector and i applied it from this side

3.paste one side of the protectr first and paste the rest firmly and use the little plastic card suplied with protector to get rid of air bubbles. if any air bubble was created use the plastic card to push it out of the screen.

4. after that tear off the last layer(as i remember there were 3 layers of the protector) which is the one on the top.and GOOD LUCK:smileyhappy:

screen protectr repels dust particles. so ur screen is protected from the scraches caused from dust. but it won't stand a chance against a heavy scrach. and yes, u can replace protector with a new one when you got many scraches.
