Screen guard is missing in new Neo v box

Hi .. I bought neo v on jan 14 2012.. After i bought it, the box seal was opened before me in the shop and the seal was fine. That time I dont know that neo v comes with a screen guard. When I came home and checked the contents of the box on the label there is a screen guard written on it. I went back to the shop and asked about the same. They said that the box was opened right before and we cant help it if it does not come inside the box. How can i deal with this?? Is this the fault of sony ericsson or the shop keeper is cheating me??? Please suggest.

With all due respect uliwooly... Believe me there is no guard or protector anything on the screen. I bought this mobile along with my friend with a week gap. He has it but I doesnot have it. Slightly_frowning_Face

I don't know about lawyer Dizzy_Face but from my 3 xperias all came with pre-installed screen protector, the thiner the better, trust me, if its to thick then there will be some issues with the digitizer/touch screen.

if you ever want to replace it, or when it gets scratched use this ZAGG

http://www.zagg.com/

I like the idea that it is pre-installed that way you don't have to worry about installing it and leaving air bubbles underneath, this varies from market but in some countries they get an extra one, some other markets they get a bluetooth headset, etc.

Is this the same for the Neo MT15i?

I've added a additional screen protector a few months ago, so actually I would use two screen protectors at the moment?

Maybe a bit overkill or could it be that the pre-installed screen guard is not strong enough?

Maybe I'll remove the extra screen guard then, because I'm not really statified with it. Did my best to add it clean, but there a some small dust spots / hairs under it and in some lightning conditions I see small bubbles.

it seems that all xperias come with pre-installed screen protector, so you probably have two, and no, it is not strong enough. once its damaged/scratched you can replace it with a stronger/durable screen protector, this wouldn't be an issue, if SONY would've use either

1) Gorilla Glass

or

2) Dragon Trail

and now

3) Gorilla Glass2

Sorry for my late reply!

Thanks for the info. So actually because SE doens't use stronger glass, it's recommended to use a extra screen protector. I'm currently using a screen protector fromt "Clear Protector", maybe I'll try one from another brand or try to reapply it (if this is still possible).

Do you have any suggestions for other brands?
