Schratches on screen

Hi,

I bought my Active about a week ago, and today I noticed many little scratches on my screen. So i wanted to ask, is there some kind of see through protective film on screen which i didn't remove(i removed only the obvious one which was on the screen when unpacked), or i have managed to scratch the unscratchable glass?

Unfortunately i dont have any photos.

so you dint have any screen protector on your screen ??

can you see on the edges of the screen if you can see any protector or not ?

also if not then you should buy one and get it placed..

it'll protect the screen 🙂

Thanks for answer, and i tried a little bit harder to remove that scrathed protector, because i could see that there is something on the screen, and it came off. So everything is fine.

well you should replace it with a new protector..

or lse the scratch will remain unless you change the screen itself..

so its best to have a protector on 😉

Maybe i will.

Thing with scrathces is, they were not on screen itself, but original protector. As i removed this protector, screen is perfectly fine. And not to say it's impossible to scrach it, but at least very hard to scratch screen itself.

Thanks for fast response :smileyhappy:.

isn't the Xperia Active scratch, dust, water resistant?  I wonder if SE is finally using Gorilla Glass

Now i know it's schratch resistant,  no scratches on screen(for now) .

And glass they are using for Active, as I read somewhere, is called "dragontrail", which is supposed to be about the same as gorilla glass. You can find some tests of this glass in youtube.

seems promising, maybe the new Xperia Generation (Xperias 2012) come with this type of glass either Gorilla glass or Dragontrail

strangely the XA already have a screen protector on when i bought the phone and another included in the box... Any1 having the same?

Think the scratch is on the protector not the screen...

I had only one protector already on the screen, didnt have another one in box.

And unfortunately, my previous statement that its unscratchable is wrong Slightly_frowning_Face

After removing default screen protector, i am 100% sure i have scratches(many many small ones) on the screen, after just keeping it in my pocket without nothing else besides it.

Anyone from official support care to answer? Is it supposed to scratch from just being in pocket, without any abuse, or maybe i have a defective unit?
