Restarting without powering off

Is there a way to restart the phone without powering it down and then back up again? When holding the side button the only options seem to be Power off or Airplane mode.

Are you talking about a quick restart where it doesn't fully power off or are you talking about shutting down but without waiting for it to shut down - Hold Volume up and power untill it vibrates then press power to restart

If you mean re-start o soft reset, you must open the back (sorry I don't know to use the correctly word in English, I mean the back you open and you can see the battery and the SIM and SD card places) there, down, near the led, down of the battery you will see OFF, there you must press with a pen, for example!!

Thanks for the reply Thommo. The second one, I think. It's like the restart option on a PC, where it shuts down and immediately restarts without you having to do anything else. I'm sure there used to be that option on my last Android phone (Huawei). The volume up/power option doesn't work for me. Not a reset, but thanks for the info anyway, Meid. Your English is perfectly good!

You cannot restart your SP,unfortunately.It has that button on the back for cases in which it freezes.Power button+vol up does not work in this case.

thank you for the info. it actually worked when my phone hung up. removing the sim and holding the volume button as well as the power button didn't help at all.
