Ram capacity question

Recently I entered on my xperia sola the running applications and I noticed a strange thing about the ram.

Below the apps there was a bar which showed the free and used ram.

It was 159 used and 140 free, so my question is : where are the rest 201 mb or ram????

Wasnt sola supposed to have 512?

I know it may not be exactly 512 but 200mb less is kinda too far .

Are the 200mb used to run the android OS and the vital processes or it may be a faulse in ram?

I would really like to know if there is anything wrong with my ram or everything is ok.
