Question regarding Face unlock and standby screen

I just upgraded my phone to ICS (a very long but smooth process). I can't find the option to use the face unlock feature. It is not there in the security settings. Where is it and how does it work?

Also, as the phone goes into sleep mode, is there any screensaver or similar option available? It seems difficult to guess if your phone is on or off without unlocking it.

As far as I'm aware you must have a Google account registered in your phone for the Face unlock function to show in the menu.

Make sure you register your account in the phone and then try again. Slightly_smiling_Face

You can set the time before the display "falls a sleep" by going to Settings - Display.

For the face unlock to work, you need to connect to the internet and update all your apps, especially adobe flash. It should work after that.

As for the second question,i really don't get the point for setting a screensaver. But you can try something.Go to settings-display-lock screen settings and change the wallpaper. But really,i do not recommend this.

Sorry, couldn't log on any earlier. But thanks for the answers. I prefer the pattern unlock feature better.
