Hi,
After the initial excitement of getting an ICS upgrade on my xperia Sola, following are the issues which have cropped up and have mellowed down the joy.
1. Memory Unounted: Everytime i go to the gallery to see pics and video files, i get an error message "Memory Unmounted".
2. PC Companion: Phone is not getting detected by the PC companion, also not able to view my files using the File Manager.
3. USB Connection: Memory card and Internal memory folders not seen after connecting the phone to my Laptop.
4. Charging: Charging has become erratic, as phone not getting charged sometimes using charger and USB both.
Hope i get some guidance on the problems above.
Amit

Hi Stal,
Thanks for your suggestion. I tried factory settings reset. It solved some problems.
But the follwing probs still continue:
2. PC Companion: Phone is not getting detected by the PC companion, also not able to view my files using the File Manager.
3. USB Connection: Memory card and Internal memory folders not seen after connecting the phone to my Laptop.
Have you tried factory reset?

Hmm, Factory reset should have removed those problems also. Have you tried this:
Connect your phone with pc (pc companion must be workin). From the PC Companion select connect phone or something. It should open a new window and start looking for phone. After, let say 20sec, disconnect USB from the phone - wait few seconds and reconnect. PC Companion should now install the drivers for you device and you should be able to access your SD cards.
Let me know if it was successful.
Hi,
Read in some other forum on changing the USB mode from MTP to MSC in Settings< Xperia < Connectivity. Also found the setting to "Install PC Companion". Set the tick box on this setting and the PC companion detected my phone on the PC.
Now it is working fine.
Thanks stal.
