Problem with Xperia Pro standby feature

Hi friends,

               I have bought a new Sony XPERIA PRO 3 days back.Whenver im turning of the screen with sidelock provided,it turns off,then,after a few seconds,it turns ON and immediately turns OFF(within 2 secs) and it is repeated for a few times.So,even though i turn it off....it turns on and off for a few times.Please give me a solution to solve it.

Btw do you have a case protector?

how about a taskiller? battery/juice defender? antivirus?
