problem with installing build number 4.1.B.0.587 ..

:smileysad:i got the update 4.1.B.0.587 on my phone with update center which is 15.3 mb ... i download it and when comes to install ( it's 4 points to complete updating ) in the 3rd point which is installing on the phone (as i understood from the picture that look like a phone ) it doesn't proceed and turns the phone on .... and tell me " could not install " what should i do .. btw ..im rooted on 4.0.4( by downgrade the frimware and upgrading it back ) should i have to unroot it please help .....

If your phone is rooted you might not be able to install this update. Try updating via PC Companion/Update service instead. It might work. http://www.sonymobile.com/update

I am having the same issue with my Xperia Arc LT15A, which is also rooted.  What did you end up doing to resolve it?
