Is there a way of unlocking the phone just by touching the screen, or at least by not using the power button? By unlocking I mean, gettin to the "front page" of the phone. I searched everywhere in the settings section but found nothing.
no, the power button turns the display on and off it does automatically turn off after the pre-set time,but it won't come on unless you turn it on (or if it has a bug) if you're using the phone and the display is on, you'll go to home page by pressing home button
I was hoping that the power button could be somehow bypassed. On my previous phone, I just touched the screen in pulled a sign from left to right and it unlocked the phone. But now this power button 😕
Which phone was that? Theoretically, you could set the screen timeout to 30 minutes, so you would probably save yourself a lot of power button pressing, but then your battery would drain faster. AFAIK, this is how most (if not all) smartphones work.
