Please help me solving this problem with sim card lock

Is it normal to see sim card lock activated when the airplane mode is activated ? and if I deactivate it , will the sim card lock be disabled ? I don't remember my pin code and I did a factory data reset and it didn't solve the proplem . 

Please any one help me , I'm sorry if my question is stupid

If you forgot your pin there isn't anything you can do as you will have to contact your carrier/network

does the pin code change by changing sim card ?

what happens if i pun my sim card back ?

The sim lock should remain, you can try it but I doubt there will be any difference, just contact your network/carrier

ok . one last question , what will be locked when the sim card lock is activated , i mean only messaging and dialer and contacts only , or the whole device ?

Whatever its stored on your SIM card, to be honest now a days its a bit pointless to have a SIM lock, it will be better if you lock your phone Pin lock, password, pattern lock instead of the SIM card

Or you could use 2 passwords(SIM and phone),but the SIM can be easily removed.Phone lock can be also easily removed,too:smileytongue:

you mean : if i remove sim card , the sim card lock will be disabled ?

If you remove it from the phone,the SIM has it's lock still on.
