I'm still stuck with the old 4.1.2 firmware and I didn't want to update it to 12.1.A.1.205 cuz many folks have reported that VoIP apps such as "Viber" do not work on the new firmware (Viber is one of the most popular apps in Iran and over 90% of Android users have it on their phones alongside with WhatsApp and Tango, hence people use these softwares regularly) now what I hear about the older updates such as 201 is that they are full of bugs and issues. So I'm not sure if sony developers want to come up with a patch for solving the Viber issue or not, it's sad that we have to refrain from updating the firmware just because of the Viber issue in 205 firmware. I understand that Sony developers worked pretty hard in order to resolve the problems that existed in older firmwares but I request them to solve the issue with Viber ASAP.

I am on 4.1.2 too, and I want to update to .205, but I heard that viber isn't working in .205, so I can't update it, because I cant stand without viber... 
How come other devices running on android 4.3 don't have this same issue?
It's a tiny firmware glitch bro!
Anyways, I've contacted Viber a few minutes ago and told them about the issue. I'm waiting for their response and I'll share it here when they send it. A technical explanation would be nice though.

i'm facing a a problem with viber on my Xperia Sp device since i update my device to android 4.3 :: Firmware 12.1.A.1.205 and 12.1.A.1.203, viber didn't work Appropriately.
when making a call via Viber it connect and start the call and after 10 second or less it go silent and i can't hear the caller but the caller hears me !!
i filled a ticket before and you told me that you will fix it in the up coming update but you didn't ...So i'm really confused now!! what do i have to do?
