new user to android system....update is not working.

No matter what I have tried... I cannot get my phone to update to save my life anyone have any idea's as to what to do?

Also I just traded in an iphone 4s to get into a more personalized phone, and so far i love the phone but this update is going to drive me up a wall. Any help would be greatly appareciated.

probably the update in your country it hasn't been approved

Yes I do show an update, but if it wasn't approved yet for the US then should i not show for an update?

AT&T already released ICS for the Ion, try with SUS (link above)

if your phone it's a bit laggy or slow, run the update once more to repair the phone
