New update notification from email

Good day to all!

I have received an email informing me that my LT18i (Android 2.3.4 / Build 4.0.2.A.0.42) needs an Android upgrade.

Upon checking with the SonyEricsson.com, yes it was confirmed:

"New software is available for your Xperia™ smartphone.

Update your software to benefit from the latest Android platform for smartphones and the most up-to-date software for Xperia™.

You can download the new software directly over the air or connect your phone to a computer and download it via PC Companion."

But when I connected my LT18i to my PC, PC Companion informed me that my phone is already up-to-date.

Can you enlighten me please?

whats your current android version..build number??

go to settings > about phone

and also check the update with this

the new build number for the LT18i (Arc S) it's 4.0.2.A.0.58

it has just being released on Hong Kong so you will probably get it soon

That explains it! I do hope that I will get the update soon. In the notification email that I received it mentioned an updated FiX that I'm so excited about.
