Neo V:Can't able to view images in Gallery.Any one experiencing the same ?

Hi Everyone,

Recently I bought Xperia Neo v.I'm just loving this phone.The only problem I have is, it heats up quickly while I play Games.But that's ok since it is a mobile and not playstation. But yesterday I experienced a new problem.When I clicked my Gallery I can't able to see anything.I thought all the images got deleted but after sometime I can view all the photos as usual. I thought it will work here after, but my guess failed.Still i'm facing the problem I can't able to view my photos.Why it is happening so ?. My firmware update is the latest (0.42). Please someone help me out.

i didnt tried this. Settings -> applications -> manage applications -> all -> gallery (Clear everything )

But clearing the gallery, will delete all the files (images, videos, songs)?? 

I didnt sync facebook or picasa into my phone. Actually not configured facebook twitter and others yet. Last week only i bought the phone.

no it won't delete anything just settings, it won't erease your pictures nor videos

But sony mobile's stock gallery application looks smart and cool. i want to fix that. Help to fix that.

i said to install quick pic to help in fixing stock gallery only

install it right now to check it,, would help to verify the problem that lies with the stock gallery

What a miracle... After installing quick pic application, stock gallery application works fine. I dont know how it got fixed.

Problem again

Now i see only empty gallery screen when i open stock gallery. (Quick pic works fine).

Any idea or help to fix permanently?

are you willing to format sd card, you may have corrupt data in the card causing the issue.

if u want to backup some important files/folders then just connect ur mobile to pc companion and copy the things to ur pc , later transfer them to ur phone

clear data of gallery again and restart your phone

or wait did u repaired your software using pc companion or sony update service ???

take out your battery and take out your sd card before doing any of the above suggestions
