Hi there , I tried to do an software update this morning with pc companion , when it's updating half way it came up with an error . then my phone switched off . now i tried to switch it on , it shows a triangle with yellow exclimation mark next to a phone . the pc won't pick it up when I connect usb . what must I do ?

Backup everything as it will erase all data on phone (sms, contacts,apps)

Update/Repair your phone via PCC or SUS

PCC (PC COMPANION) – Repair your software with this .First do the setup without connecting your mobile to pc.(only connect when you are asked to).

Do it as follow >> PCC > SUPPORT ZONE> SOFTWARE UPDATE> REPAIR SOFTWARE (written with blue)

Try downloading SUS [Sony Update Service] google it...

Then install and choose upgrade/repair, I think that is the official way to do it.

Should do, I haven't personally repaired the phone with damaged software [which is what you have, half an install on your phone] so it should "flash" the phone with new software.

Try and it report back, I'm 80% certain it will work for you.
