Model number as 4 digits

Hello - I have an old (but good) W380i which I want to unlock. In order to do this I need a 4 digit model number which I can't find. It's driving me mad. I've looked under the battery but there's so much there and nothing is marked as a model number except W380i (which doesn't work). Any ideas anyone?

Did you obtain the network unlocking code from Tesco mobile?

W380i is the model number; however are you referring to network lock and if not what type of lock are we talking about?

Thanks but it doesn't work.

Thanks for answering - I want to unlock the phone from the Tesco network and it's proving nearly impossible to do without a 'four digit model number'. It won't accept 0000 (good try though) and it won't accept W380/380i. I'm stuck.

Brilliant - I didn't realise Tesco would do it.......just spoken to them directly and they've put the wheels in motion no probs.

Yeah, Tesco are pretty good; they're the only network I know that don't actually charge for the unlocking code, as long as you've been using them for 3 months and have spent at least £25.
