missing text inbox

i sent a txt message but i didnt get a reply as i didnt have a good signal and then my inbox icon on my screen vanished!! unable to now send or recieve txts, its as tho the facility has gone off my phone, any ideas??? thanx

Your sms icon only vanished from home screen or your apps menu also??

its vanished from menu completly aswell as home screen so i cant send txts as my messages arnt there, unable to send or recieve them.

Did you try to force restart your phone??by press little boton under back cover???
And go to setting>apps>all see can you find messaging
