memory card issue

my phone came with a pre-installed sd card (2GB) and i wanna change it to a larger one. some folders were there when it was bought. do i have to copy them into new one too. are they essencial to run the phone?(marked with red as i remember)

i dont think that u need to copy these folders.They will be copied automatically when u insert a new memory card.

when i changed my memory card i didnt copy any of these folders and my phone worked fine but the apps which were stored in the memory card were gone.i had to install them again from the market
