LwW: Walkman Player Widget Issue

I recently upgraded my LwW to ICS and most things are working well. However if I want to use the Walkman player widget in another launcher it doesn't show up in the widget chooser. For the stock Xperia Home the widget works fine but for other launchers such as ADW/Launcher 7 the widget isn't even listed, why is this?

This is something that has been in place since the first firmware. Unfortunately only the Sony launcher will offer the Sony specific widgets such as this.
