Lagging performance

I updated to android 4.3 and its been sometime, it works well and runs smoothly without lagging. Recently I have noticed some lagging and also tried some boosting apps like CleanMaster, but it is very temporary.

I also have McCafee antivirus installed since 4.1.2, is this antivirus causing lag ?

When on 4.1.2, it didn't feel lag even with the antivius.

My phone is lagging day by day and I also tried restarting, works for sometime and then the LAGGING continues.

If I disable the built-in apps, it says that it will replace it with factory version and delete data.

don't worry..it will replace the app with the factory version because the update version that you have installed will not be used anymore...if you didn't update the app this type of message won't appear..
