Jelly bean update and Facebook integration

hi,

I bought a Xperia ION last december. Till now the Xperia facebook timescape integration is not working and the jelly bean update is also not launched yet. It has been more than two months since the promised date for ION jelly bean update has got over. I wonder why i have bought a sony product when there is no customer satisfaction and trust. I will definitely recommend my friends and others to not to buy a sony product. Please post your views on this and could someone please let me know when this issue will be resolved.

the Ion will get the update sometime in May

try this:

settings > about phone > update > try to see if you can update timescape.

or use the software update app

They are busy releasing new phones every month or so and once they got our money they dont care anymore.

It reminds me price strategy. At first glance 999 doesnt looks as bad as 1000, from the end of May doesnt look as bad as sometime in June

umm ok? if you are not happy with Sony's timeline you should contact them directly, the forum is for us, userst to help each other, I know that you might be a bit upset, I have an Xperia S too as well as other Xperias but just contact Sony directly.

Damn even the old Samsung S2 got JB some month or two ago..even for all the operators

not all operators, and what is your goal on this forum? I see that you've been posting all over the forum, again I understand that you are disappointed but posting how samsung or htc or any other OEM has release this or that and bla bla bla it's not going to get Sony to release the update sooner, it just clutter the forum and its consider spam.

remember the idea of the forum is for users to help each other.

I was mainly posted in Ion and xperia S forum because this two phones are expected to get JB at the same time.

again, the idea of this forum is for users to help each other, if a user or multiple users post all over the forum posting the same thing or similar thing over and over it will be hard to help users that actually need help, your post its a complain which you've done on repeated occasions, we got it, you are disappointed. again read the forum guidelines and comply with them.
