Issue with GTalk app in ICS

Hi All,

I have a strange issue in GTalk for ICS. The sorting of contacts is a bit wired.

1 When Selecting By Availability - Only 5 contacts are showing as available while in Laptop 15 to 20 are online.

2.When Selecting by Name: All of them are showing but in Alphabatical order. I have to search for them in order to chat.

3.When Selecting  by Recency - Only friends that I had a chat with them recently are showing, The count is 3 to 5.

It was working fine in GB.

Alternatively you can use Im+ from play store.

It has push message mode, so it wont drain your phone resources , data usage and still stay connected 24x7. supports all messaging clients.

Hi Sagar,

As mentioned on another thread, Even I had the issue you mentioned about gtalk on first login and was very alarmed, but when I signed out and signed in again, it got resolved automatically.. no more mess ups..when you select show by availability, it first shows people who are online, then people who are idle and then people who are offline.. as normal.. seems ok for me

Hi Prem

True. The sorting is like that. But are you able to see all your friends those who are online when sort by availability. For me it's showing only most popular friends.
