I would prefer to go back to Ginger Bread if ICS is so laggy, is there any way to do that. I want to have a stable firmware instead of a laggy and frustating ICS .
Solved! Go to Solution.
No need to go back on GB . It was McAfee which was the problem, I removed that
Yes if you do it manually using flashtool - Ignore the debrand title, It's the process that matters

Now all you need is the right GB firmware - Do you know which country and version you want
IE: LT26I_6.0.A.3.75_Generic UK etc
Or wait for Jelly bean update.
Sony will release JB on 31/08/2044 😉
Man that will be too early, till that time Sony will be busy in reading all these failure and complaint against their devices without doing anything.
click on downgrade

ICS it's not laggy on my Xperia S, do you have a taskiller or antivirus? also if you have FBinside Xperia it will try to sync all your albums, thus, slowing down your phone.

I have got McAfee subscription on it and a task killer app as well. And FB inside xperia does not works well here as i m in china. The main problem i m facing is Flickering Scree (Almost blinking) in album and camera. Mad behaviour of firmware where it prevents to start apps and keep those restarting everytime. I found it is totally messed up.
Today's example: I was trying to translate something from english to chinese as i need it a lot here, but it was preventing to start up the keypad Keypad started blinking so it didn't allow me to input and what was embarrising that my chinese friend
given me his iPhone saying that it will not do like this and i successfully translated the required text
on that.
he was launghing that why did i wasted money on Xperia S.
I never faced any this kind of problem on my blackberry torch, that is still the best.
