Several hours ago I was asking about how to finish upgrading the Andriod software to 2.3.4 on my Xperia Play. Ironically, now I'm wanting to know if it's possible to get it back the way it was, with all the same apps and games I had on 2.3.3. I guess sort of a factory reset. Reverting it back to the same state it was in when I got it from AT&T.

yes you can downgrade
make sure you mark the correct and helpful answers
or if you want the AT&T bloatware and all that junk then
follow the steps on the above link and use this Firmware instead
(I'm still looking for it)

Actually I just want some of the games back mostly. I'd like to get rid of a lot of these apps, like the Facebook app. Would that require this "debranding" I've read a bit about. Sounds like a territory I don't want to step into if I don't have to.
Will that AT&T software come with the games that were pre-installed?
Sorry for the late reply.
they should come with the games, debranding it's not such a scary problem, since you can re-brand anytime
What does debranding really do? Anything I really want to do that I can't do with a rooted phone?
it will get rid of logos and preloaded apps that carriers/networks add, and you will get the updates first before any branded phone/firmware
