illumination bar giving wrong notification lock when phone is locked

When my phone is locked the notification light in the illumination bar is coming as white even though it has been set to different colours but as soon as i click the lock button..the screen light turns on and the notification light gives the colour opted for the notification. Can anyone suggest anything about how to solve the problem?

turn stamania mode off..if you have stamani on you will get white for notifactions
