Hello. I previously posted when I had Gingerbread about a problem I had with the network. It drops (especially when I'm sleeping) and it refuses to reconnect unless I restart the phone. I was given advice that with an upgrade to ICS, the problem would be rectified. http://talk.sonymobile.com/thread/51316
But, even with an upgrade to ICS (Build # 6.1.B.0.544), I'm still having the same problem. Now, instead of my phone losing connection but showing full signal strength, my phone just loses connection and says I have absolutely no signal. With a restart, my phone is fixed.
When I had GB, I tried "reset to factory settings" AND "software repair" through the computer. But, I still had the same problem.
Any help would be very much appreciated. I'm getting very frustrated! Does anyone else have the same problem?

Thanks!!!! I'll do that. I hope it's just some messed up APN settings. I'll play around with it to see if it has anything to do with it. Thanks again!
anytime, don't listen to AT&T
OK great. I tried maybe around 5 or 6 different APN settings that I found all over the internet for AT&T's network, including the one that was posted here, to try to get my phone to work. I finally found the exact APN settings that haven't led to a disconnect yet! It looks like the only difference is in what the "APN Type" says!
Thanks to everyone who offered help... really appreciate it!!
For anyone on AT&T using an Xperia, I'd recommend these found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=27982934&postcount=2

Nevermind. Network and data disconnects after extended standby period and won't reconnect... better than before but every morning I have to restart. Ugh!
Unfortunately I think this needs to be examined at an repair center to be fixed. Contact your local support team for more information.
