let it settle for some days !! ics is a major update and hence the battery requires time to settle !! ics has improved the performance of xperia p and i presume the lag you r facing is because you havnt restarted the phone after updating to ics !! restart the phone once or twice after update and u will find a smooth ui !! plz mark my answer as correct/helpful if u find my post useful
