How do I get rid of gaps in my Xperia U menu?

Basically, when I unistall an app, it leaves a gap. In some of my menu slides I only have 3/4 apps in them and I can't put any other apps in that gap! I now the gaps go when I change the order but I don't want to do that. Please Help!

And one more question, how do I delete menu slides? I have a menu slide which has nothing in it. And I've viewed your thread.

Ignore that stupid question. I just realised the slides delete themselves.

you can't, you will have to use a different home launcher to be able to do so
