how to transfer SMS's from SE K800 to Xperia T

How can I transfer SMS's from my old SE K800 tot my new Xperia T and keep them readable like new SMS's on the Xperia? PC Companion only seems to support printing or saving them as .txt

I don't recomend you do so as the higher number of SMS the slower the messaging app will become. Instead how about this alternatives

If you must transfer them, use PhoneExplorer

Wow! MyPhoneExplorer (MPE) outstands Sony PC Companion by far with regard to the shown contact info on my SE K800i.

As for transferring my (small) number of SMS's: how does that work?

• I copied the ones on SE K800i to MPE's archive. Then I connected Xperia T. Where's the import function or something like that?
• Also tried: phones disconnected, MPE started, then ctrl a + c SMS's for user SE K800i, switch to user Xperia T and ctrl + v in the Messagers INBOX folder and Sent respectively (nothing happens) 
• Both phones were connected by usb cable one by one. Should I try connect both at once?

- Connect your K800i
- Menu-Extras-Create backup
- Connect your Xperia
- Menu-Extras-Restore backup

Thanks for the idea. I however solved it with my explanation above. The SIM suggestion couldn't have worked in my situation: the K800i has a SIM, the Xperia a micro-SIM.
