know this..and i have tried....

you are not understaning...

for the app to work you have to tap on the first app icon ( there must be 2 icons showing in your app menu )

the first one locks the screen and the other opens the settings..

and i have selected the same setting but still it only works if i click on the first icon...

understood..???

in its description it says

One click to turn off screen and lock device without touching power button..

so the first app icon has to be clicked in order to lock the device in old tv style..

also it does not give the option to open like it as well...

fade out still appears if we unlock the screen..

and yes.. its like a defective old tv style :smileygrin: :smileygrin: line quality is not that good...
