Ok. I think i got it. To enable 3G conection just go to networks and others =>Mobile Networks and select ONLY WCDMA. After that look at the symbol on notification bar. It is probably showing to you two arrows with the 3G written. Now try to open some app to make it exchange data with your network. Now there are no more arrows with 3G in the notification bar. But you will find there two arrows with the "H" written. The "H" means HSPA. But it will not be enable all the time. Just when it is necessary.
I hope I helped you.
Best Regards.
Go to Wireless networks and others =>Mobile Networks and select ONLY WCDMA (what is a kind of 3G signal). But it only works if the 3G signal reaches your area.

In spec it says WCDMA is a low speed 3G and HSPA is high speed 3G. They also say that SE live with walkman supports HSPA then why not settings are there to enable that.
From page 32 of user guide, you can see that LWW always will choose the fastest networks avaliable for mobile data. But it not says it supports HSPA.

Please check at the bottom of the page. If they say HSPA supported then i can return my mobile saying it is not working. whats your say?
