How to copy text?

In a text editing program, I can select some text and a little box appears above the selection with an option to copy.

I frequently have an email (Gmail) and I wish to copy some text and paste it elsewhere, into skype for example...

But whenever I select the text, the box does not appear above, I have no way to copy what I have selected.

By random chance I have occasionally seen "Text copied to clipboard" appear.

I am sure it is all very simple - if someone could please explain.

I worked it out!

Actually not necessary to go to forward or reply.

Long pressing will select the text.

A quick tap will copy it - THAT IS THE KEY!

I thought, you were known and tried it, but still it wasn'r working.. thats why i advised you to go in Forward and Reply mode..

anyway problem solved... thats what we want..
