How to connect to internet using XPERIA S

Unable to launch Xperia link on my PC running on windows 8. Please advise how could I connect my PC to internet using my XPERIA S?

Goto settings->click more->click tethering & portable hotspot-> there you decide whether it should be through wireless or through usb

For wireless switch on the portable wifi hotspot you can also change the ssid and password once done you can see in the ssid in your pc

For usb just plug the usb cable to your computer and switch on usb tehering.

The above is correct; however in some cases you will also need to contact your network provider and request that they enable tethering on your account though this varies from network to network.

While using usb tethering, you cant check for updates through pc companion. Is there any option to update mobile through mobiles internet?
