Ok, I only enabled NFC and scanned my tag and then I got it in smart connect application
With Smart connect application. After installation you can scan the tag and do the configuration.
When I tap the phone on the tag, even then I don't see any Smart Tag in the "Devices" section of smart-tag application.
It seems that the Smart Tag app doesn't automatically launch even when NFC is enabled and I tap the smart-tag.
Do I need to do something with the smart-tag too? (there are two stickers that came along with the tags?).
The Smart Tag application is also not visible in the application board... (though when I check from settings, it is shown as installed).
Have you upraded the LiveWare Mgr app? It is now called Smart connect and in there you see the smarttags config.
It automatically got upgraded to Smart Connect with the ICS update. It is not showing any smarttags config icon etc.
It only shows 3 settings - Night, Headphone, Headset and allows me to add more...
When I click on Add, and try to enter into "devices" section of "When", it doesn't show smart-tags.
When I do a menu - it only shows, "Add Bluetooth device" - nothing about NFC or SmartTag...
With the NFC tags, did you need to paste the stickers on them...
I recieved 2 NFC tags with two circular stickers in the box. Are they required to activate the tag?
Maybe they differ in different regions, but my once was red and black and I didn´t need to do anything:

So, I uninstalled the SmartConnect update...
Went back to Live Manager....
Reinstalled SmartConnect...
It now identified the tags... Did not need to add stickers or anything...
Thanks a lot trollfager.
Same issue here with my Xperia S, I only have the 3 Profiles
Even if I uninstall the update and get back to Live Manager, and install SmartConnect, TAGS are notshown. I can also not lanuch SmartTags as a standalone Widget and it does not seem to run in the background (having checked in Settings...)
How do I get my mobile to see the Tags?
