hey people... im currently using sony ericsson xperia arc running 2.3.4
after this update, there's a drastic drop in the performance of the battery of the phone 
i never had any battery problemms until now.. and when the phone used to run on 2.3.3, the battery was functioning just fine..
and now since ive updated around a week back.. ive been observing a fall
and to my observation, i feel it's nt the problem with the battery but with the display.. when it ran on 2.3.3, the display would take around 35% of everyday's charge.. but now it takes EIGHTY !!!!!
please reply.. if u guys face the same problem, join me in appealing to SE.. and for those who dnt face this problem, please notify me as to where i can improve on the performance of the display.. i have kept the brightness to 15 % and the screen timeout to 30 seconds.. and within 5 hours the battery dies and when i see the usage.. 80 % would be the display !!
i have activated the 3g but i dont think its 3g at all :smileylaugh::smileyangry:
i'll be out tomorrow so full day data will be on..so just wait for another 2 days

crap , i just used it for 5-6 hours..
total waste of money because i dont use 3g at home..
also . i have my exams going on..so today i left the 3g on , but it did not have that much efect..
although in the morning i activated the 3g , the battery went down from 93 - 90 in just 3 minutes..but afterwards i dint use it so not an efficient check..
but yes..my phone became hot than normal when i activated 3g..
it was only for the first time..
