uninstall taskillers, battery apps, antivirus, they drain your battery

Android apps that use power control APIs are often 'battery killers,' oh the irony

go to settings -> applications -> running services -> stop apps that you don't use all the time such as

OfficeSuite

turn off your 3G/Data plan when you don't use it

which Android version do you have?

Hi. I have significaly extended battery life by disabling automatic sync, scheduled the phone to go in flight mode when I am sleeping. The most difference was made when I switch network mode to gsm only, because 3g is not so good covered as 2g. 2-3 days is a good autonomy, bit depends what are you doing with the phone. I can got also 1 day and half if browsing a lot. A huge difference make how you set a screen brightness. Hope it helps. Regards.

Best way ever - Root phone and install SETCPU

Also titanium backup and freeze unwanted apps

You can disable unwanted applications on ICS. Most of them could be disabled if you want,....No need to root. Try....
