I've found that after upgrading to ICS, no more EXIF data are stored in pictures taken with me Xperia S! There's only GPS tags (if geotagging is tuned on) and camera model, but it lacks many other useful data, just like the simple "date taken" that I usually use to rename the files after storing on my PC!
That's an example of the EXIF data difference in pictures taken before and after ICS upgrade: http://i.imgur.com/cGpAS.jpg
Any way or hope to fix that?

If it's the same issue i have experienced, then it is not ICS but the latest update to Google + that is doing it.
I found this via a separate forum just on Android generally (not only happening on the Xperia)
Try turning off Instant Upload from within Google + itself, and see what happens on photos taken after that.
For me, it worked instantly. Apparently the photos were stored with EXIF normally, but then Google + was stripping the data out as it was uploaded to them.
(Also, but not tested by me, the version up on Google + might well still have the EXIF data)

You are right!!! Thanks alot, Oriba, i'd never thought about it!
The strange thing is that pictures just taken and not yet uploaded seems that are already missing data.
Anyway, instant upload disabled, problem fixed. Thanks again!
(I've checked pictures on G+: in fact there's some EXIF data in there, but only a few and not the useful ones...)
You are welcome. It's amazing how these 'little' things can really annoy. When i found the 'solution' on a posting on another site I was tempted to create myself a user account just so i could post a thank-you message
