Downgrading problem...from ICS to gingerbread

I think i did a big mistake...after updating to ICS and after a few days i realised tthis Operating sistem is "heavy" - battery drains faster, eats more ram, moves slowly...and so on.And i decided to go stock firmware. And...after a few sites readed how to flash your phone i downloaded to my pc Flashtool and after that i think i installed a ST18 firmware on my xperia active. I did a big mistake...now my phone doesn`t start and flashes black screen.

Neither sony pc companion or SUs doesn`t help now because my phone doesn`t start when i connect to usb and is not regognized....by the pc.

After that i downloaded the good soft and now the program flashtool can not install the good firmware...what should i do ? Please.

X_activo is right...someway

What happened to me is called brick Slightly_smiling_Face

6. Turning the "brick" into a smartphone

If you had unlocked bootloader and did OTA(Over the Air) update, then you probably ended up with a dead phone, aka brick. Don't worry, it is not completely bricked, still can be saved!

  1. Download UnbrickingXperia2011.zip file from this post below.
  2. Unpack the .zip file and place the .ftf file in Flashtool\firmwares folder.
  3. Open Flashtool.
  4. Get your phone to flashmode, make sure it is turned off, press down Volume DOWN button and connect USB cable.
  5. In Flashtool, click the lightning button, pick Flashmode and choose the Xperia_2011_FreeXperia_ALL.ftf file.
  6. Let Flashtool finish.
  7. Install stock firmware and kernel to your phone.
  8. Remove USB cable from your phone and start your phone.
  9. Try not to brick it again, less problems for you.

I reflashed first with "Xperia_2011_FreeXperia_ALL.ftf file" and after that i installed "ST17i-Active_4.1.B.0.431-1254-6360_SONY.ftf" - 372,922 KB and i think this is a good soft instead the ICS that i haved in the past - more 3G signal...and runs more faster.

Thank you guys that u have the pacient to reply to this post.

do as uliwooly says, just let it charge for a while, a red led means battery is low/or empty..
