When I run the application "camera" I get this message:
sorry, the camera application (proceso.sonyericson.android.camera) has stopped unexpectedly. Try again.
I have not updated the phone or anything, I was just using the camera and I get this error.
Any solution please!

gaston,do you want to update your phone?
what phone are you using now?
what's your phone SI no.?
My version is 2.3.4 Xperia Arc S gingerbread, 4.0.2.A.62 and, according to my phone says is updated.
I would like to update 4.0 ice cream but I have fear of me more problems or does not fix the problem of the camera.
Somebody have the same problem??
the camera acts up with some users, I've only seen this issue with the Xperia Neo V, I don't have that issue with my Xperia Arc.

your problem should be solved after update if its software problem (i think your problem is with sofware):smileyhappy:
I updated and installed the firmware of the phone with PC companion in the option "repair" and I left the phone as new, but I have not been fixed camera. The update is still 4.0.2.
As I can know if in Spain there is a new update better than 4.0.2.?

Build number
4.0.2.A.0.42 or 4.0.2.A.0.58 or 4.0.2.A.0.62

I think the issue is not the phon but your SD card, you could backup your SD card and then reformat the card
on your PC
1) open any folder -> click on tools -> properties -> view -> show hidden files
2) mount the SD card, go to your SD card, press Ctrl + A then Ctrl C, on your desktop create a new folder, open it, then press CTRL + V
as for newer version of Android

I had forgotten to specify in the post, before I did a firmware update I format the SD card and made a backup.
By this I mean that rule out that the problem is the SD.
