does new xperia u box has a seal?

hi this question may sound silly but i bought a new xperia u yesterday from a local retailer and i saw that it didnt have any seal. instead the box was sealed by a small strip of plain transparent tape (i doubt that is the seal). i am from india and can you tell me if the box of this phone has any type of seal to make sure if it is unopened.

Yes it has a seal like this.... though its a pathetic phone due to its speaker low volume and crackling sound while playing mp3 songs.

Its not just with my phone, its with many if not with all phones.

thanks dude i just got the replacement and i checked the music playback of the phone. the volume is quite low but the quality is ok. but i only tried playing 5 mp3s (min 128 kbps) till now so i cant say much.

bro my mostly all songs are 320 kbps and its clear, sony people would have done a deal such way that sony is helping first sony ericsson made phones to be released and end first, then totally sony phones will launch later dunno but mayb by 2013, as if u see its earphones has sony ericsson written and behind xperia u's back its sony ericsson logo, even i talked to sony mobile mananger in india he skipped this talk and he said me to get doa(dead on arrival) for my handset, and get it replaced with new one.. but i didn't do it as i went to a shop and checked another demo xperia u first and it exactly had the same crackling issue in some songs and some played fine with same low volume.... so it was clear even if i get a new set it will have the same issue. Even those shop people cleared me these would be left sony ericsson phones sony is clearing first... as dont u think if it was totally sony then the phones should have had a "sony make believe" logo behind ?!

** download a song "edward maya's - twin heart" listen from the speaker and u will get to know what i am talking about. Its not just with one song but many!

they totally did a disaster, i mean i can go long on this....

they added sony feature softwares in sony ericsson phone's as its sony now... so awesome in-ear sound,etc no doubt though... 

its obvious in high end smart phones the problem cannot be detected as even being sony ericsson phone its speaker would be fine that can handle sony's software like clear bass, equalizer, etc...... but the problem is being detected in low end sony smartphones that its speaker cannot handle sony's software and is giving problems .. for example if a speaker can handle and produce 30 type of things and its software can produce 35 things.... so it'll definately be crackling. This mayb is a wrong example but i am saying the right thing that its definately a mix-match issue!

They should correct it in the next update that will be of ics i guess
